FRESH - Our product does not sit on shelf. Most product goes from manufacturer to Supplement company, sits in warehouse, then to store, sits in back room then on shelf.

4 part L-Leucine, 1 part L-IsoLeucine, and 1 part L-Valine are branached chain amino acids to make BCAA 4:1:1.  There are nine essential amino acids that the body cannot manufacture itself and consumed through food or supplement form. Of those nine, L-Leucine, L-IsoLeucine, and L-Valine play a critical role in muscle development because they are metabolized in the muscle rather than the liver.*
BCAAs pass the liver and get sent directly to the muscles, so that the muscle can use the BCAAs directly for fuel or to build and repair itself.
During workouts, they can act as a fuel source, and when the workout is over, they can help build muscle.

Muscle tissue is made of protein. And protein is made up of amino acids, which are strung together like a pearl necklace. The way that muscle grows is by stringing together amino acids to make more protein. This is known as muscle protein synthesis. Although the three BCAAs are critical components in the "strings" of proteins that make muscle, their role in muscle-building is more than serving as building blocks.
Leucine, increase muscle growth by directly stimulating muscle protein synthesis. Leucine acts like a key that turns on the process that strings the amino acids together to build muscle protein. Additionally, leucine boosts insulin levels. Insulin is an anabolic hormone that further stimulates protein synthesis.

Because BCAAs are metabolized in the muscle, they can be used for building new proteins or for energy.* Using these products on a regular basis can help provide your body with vital muscle building elements from a high-quality source.*
