    A non-essential amino acid used by muscle cells to make Carnosine, which acts as an acid buffer during exercise and helps promote intramuscular pH balance.
    Help decrease fatigue and increase total muscular work 
    During exercise, and especially high-intensity training, glucose and glycogen are broken down for energy.
    In the process, hydrogen ions (H+) are also produced within the muscles. H+ accumulation causes the muscles to become more acidic and ultimately leads to fatigue.  

    Carnosine is the dipeptide (Beta-Alanine plus Histidine) helps buffer the acid that causes fatigue, so you can perform harder and longer.
    Carnosine is found in large amounts in Type II or "fast twitch" muscle fibers, which are used in explosive movements like weight training and sprinting. Carnosine helps activate enzymes responsible for generating muscle contractions.*

    DIRECTIONS
    Mix one scoop (3 grams) with 2 to 6 oz. of water 30 minutes before training. For optimal results take an additional serving following exercise. On non-training days take one serving upon waking, and another serving 6 to 8 hours later.

    May experience a temporary skin tingling sensation known as paresthesia. This is normal and often disappears or decreases with continued use. If bothered by the tingling, consider taking four half-servings throughout the day, rather than two full servings.  It can be taken any time of day
