The amino acid Citrullline and the organic salt Malate offers athletes with a new choice in improving performance and recovery. As an intermediate in the Urea Cycle, Citrulline aids in the removal of endotoxins such as lactic acid and ammonia*.
These endotoxins are produced through intense physical activity, protein metabolism, and catabolic states. Endotoxins damage living cells and wreak havoc on athletic performance.

Nitric oxide is known to dilate the blood vessels, which may have a multitude of positive effects on muscular performance and appearance.*
Promotes vascularity and intense muscle pumps, which may help support the density and appearance of the muscles.*

Increases nitric oxide production in blood vessels, increasing their diameter. This increases blood flow without raising blood pressure.
When blood vessels dilate, more blood reaches the muscles and tissues and provides a larger amount of carbohydrates, proteins and various muscle-building hormones.

Supplementing Citrulline Malate at a dose as low as 6 grams a day significantly reduced muscle fatigue, increased ATP production by 34%, and caused a 20% increase in Phosphocreatine recovery after exercise*. What this means is that Citrulline Malate improved aerobic metabolism, cellular energy production, and promoted muscular recovery.

Citrulline Malate plays a pivotal role in the urea cycle, helping the body regulate ammonia.* This amino acid is also important in protein synthesis as well as for the support of healthy immune function.*

Evidence also shows that Citrulline Malate stimulates protein synthesis, which helps the body build muscles, and increase their size, strength and endurance
